The government has announced plans to allow more schools to select their pupils via an 11+ examination. Are you in favour of this?

A: Educational standards and emotional well-being should go hand in hand. All children deserve high standards in their education but the price cannot be their physical and emotional well-being and ‘standards’ is not as narrow as ‘academic standards’.

A: The system needs to allow for individual needs, abilities and interests to dictate, in a flexible and tailor-made approach for each and every student and have mutual courtesy and respect ingrained within staff and students alike.
