Andy Nash – Bradwell
I’m Andy Nash, running for District Councillor in the Bradwell Ward. I have lived in the Hope Valley for the last 25 years and in Bradwell for 20, and for the last 14 I have been a Parish Councillor. I am actively involved in the village and surrounding communities and now want to extend the support I can offer.
I love living in the National Park and I am passionate about affordable housing.

Actions
Build on the recent Bradwell Housing Needs Survey to support the CLT and local communities to gain more control and influence over local affordable house building.
Use the planning system and any other tools available to help to control the number of second/holiday homes.
Work on promoting better support and guidance for reducing energy demand, especially as lots of older style houses require specialist guidance.
Look to maintain and improve the transport system with targeted support and planning so that transport connects and runs when needed.
