About Irene

Irene has been a Councillor in Derbyshire Dales for 25 years.

She previously represented the people of Wirksworth and surrounding villages on the Town Council, Derbyshire Dales District Council and currently has been a Derbyshire County Council since 2013.

Before becoming a Councillor, Irene trained as a State Registered Nurse, working across the UK in the NHS and in local government.
