I am a long- standing councillor representing the Wirksworth Ward. I have worked tirelessly and successfully in keeping Wirksworth, Middleton Bolehill together despite the Boundaries commission proposal to split the Wirksworth Ward. I welcome Carsington, Hopton and Calow to be part of new Wirksworth ward.

I was pleased to bring forward the proposal that Derbyshire Dales District Council become a party to the Council for Fair Tax Declaration. I support renewable energy and  biodiversity being a member of both council working groups.

I am active in homes for local Residents and always around to listen to residents concerns.

I have been a community fundraiser for many years with  charity plant stalls and other initiatives.

If elected I will bring proposals to address the rise in second homes and holiday lets in the Wirksworth Ward and District, and I will bring more homes for young local families. I support affordable and social housing for local residents.

I also I will support bringing refuse collection back under council control. I Pledge to work for Wirksworth Ward Residents and continue holding the District Council to account in providing quality services.
